currently, really good bud here in my neck of the woods is $160-$225/oz.! Too much supply, not enough demand in Cohassett, CA.

PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT!:)

it was supply & demand...when i took a leave back to Cali in may, hash was 5/g here and acid $2/hit....4finger lids, $10-15. I brought back Led Zepplin 1, no one i was stationed with had ever heard it. Anyone else experience El Paso in '69?
Had a gal deep in Juarez, used to spend some weekends at her famlies house there-i think the money exchange was 18pasos to the dollar. Went to a lot of cool dance clubs in El Paso, one was called The Elecric Eel. What a trip!!

Hey CC: since "cosmic charlie" has an L in it, you could do the old trick of using upper case "i" for it? Ya know? Or, put a period at the end (hard to see), or an underline between the two words.

I realized that the first shot I posted was from quite distance, so I'll throw this on in to further upset the small children. This picture is with my step-son on his return from Iraq (I may not agree with the bozos who sent him there, but I sure as hell respect his decision to go. He is now starting Ranger Training School, looks like it may be a career). Cush, my first picture might have been from the mtns in CO, but I too live far from there, my brother is lucky enough to own his own business in Boulder and we get there as often as possible (might be my favorite city in the US).

Very proud indeed. Judging by the reaction he received at the airport, it looks like we learned a valuable lesson back in late 60's/early 70's in realizing that it wasn't these folks fault we're in the mess, but that they are doing their part to try and clean it up just a little. My son says the only good part about being over there was the times they were able to distribute clothes and school supplies to kids as well as refurbish a neighborhood soccer field that had been destroyed by shelling. Now that he has re-upped for another 5 years, we're sure of him going back at some point for another tour when it will be time to stop watching the news again for a full year. Thanks, George, when are your kids gonna sign up?.

5 years- he's got bigger balls than me for sure.Interesting how everyone I know or has kids, relatives they all re-up. Feel useless sitting here where its safe and sound, even at the expense of being with family. Tells you something about how f-ed up it must be over there and how little they can do alone without our and other countries help. Buy him a beer for me next time you see him. Yeah, you'd wonder what things would look like if any prez' kid was on the front line. Good luck to you, him, and all his allies.

Nope- was just some background noise- I havbe fun here- but insulting someone's wife- not in a million years, dead or alive- so I want you to know that- Someone was in the smae area as me and was joking with me about something or other and I had another window open-- meant to type it there-

Nope- no way no how- never done it- never will- I respoect myself and this forum too much to infer anything nefarious

that was a wild guess without google either-wow! (sometimes i amaze myself) somehow it looked familiar and Yucatan popped into my brain cell, I have seen lot's of pic's of the ruins around Cancun though-over a decade ago. I've unfortunatly never been more south than Juarez. BUT i plan a world tour!

Tulum and Chichén Itzá are two of many great places in the Yucatan. Watch out for the leviathan iguanas at Tulum!

Thanks, but wasn't what I was expecting, was hoping for an ancient (67ish) photo of hippies in the fog. Having spent some time there then, I always look for folks I may have known.

It seems that most of us decided to take a shower, shave, buy some new clothes, spritz some "Farenheit" cologne and get jobs working for "the man" in order to buy the PC's that we now use to greatly expand our reach into global society. The plan is working. First, lull them into a false sense of security by looking like them, then actually work within one of their hives and only then can you affect real change. I, for one, refuse to be assimilated without a fight. To quote yet another fine film "I don't really see myself as a three piece suit wearin' type" (Nicholas Cage, Raising Arizona)

I used to have long hair in my younger days but I got tired of being mistaken for an ugly girl rather than an ugly guy : )

Besides, being that I allways had a thing for bathing, I use less shampoo this way.

There is a cable (usb) that connects the phone or camera to the computer. Windows Xp does the rest, at least on mine (thank god).

That's Arizona, sometimes if we don't vote for republicans (lesser of the evil of course) there's no one to vote for.

And did you hear about the new bumper sticker that's been very popular in D.C. with both parties? It simply say's "Run Hillary". Democrats like it on the back bumper, republicans on the front bumper!

I thought Goldwater was pretty scary in the 60's when I was 16, but he did come around (pun, maybe) and turned out to a good guy. I'm pretty anti republican, but I do like McCain too. 2008 is a long way off though. Are you in AZ cosmicharlie?

While the majority of people in Alaska think otherwise, voting Republican up here is voting for just plain evil. I mean how can you possibly justify legislators ( Republicans )SO smug that they proudly wore tee-shirts and hats with the slogan " corrupt bastards club" HOW? Look it up if you don't beleive me.Oh yeah, in case you haven't heard the FBI raided the AK. capital to investigate conflicts of interests and corruption between legislatures ( all Republicans except one Dem ) and VECO ( oil co. ). Sorry to get political but Republicans up here have the working class up here completely spoon fed into thinking they have their interests in mind. Yeah right, I want to puke!
